Manchester Grammar School approached us, requesting an Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness to help Year 10 deal with the stress leading up to and during their AS Levels.

We delivered a one hour session which offered a series of practical Mindfulness techniques.  The session was interactive providing students with actual methods to reduce the stress in their minds.

After the workshop all the students and staff were provide with audio recordings of a series of Meditations that they could use via their phones.

Here are the thoughts of some of the staff and students.

“We really enjoyed having you in school yesterday. Many of our boys (and staff) have already commented on how interesting they found the concept of mindfulness and how much they enjoyed practising some meditation exercises. They arrived at their lessons yesterday afternoon in good spirits, in spite of their impending exams, and with some very useful food for thought that I am sure many of them will follow up independently. From my point of view, it was incredible, if a little surreal, to see our entire Year 10 cohort sat quietly meditating with their eyes closed.”

Soon we will post the audio recording of the session.
